A few tips (I use the A7 II, and have used it for 24h streams before): - Enable "Clean HDMI output" in the settings. - Set the dial on the top of the camera to movie mode. This enables some noise reduction and sets the aspect ratio to a more palatable 16:9 for video. - Use continuous autofocus with a wide AF area, or just use manual focus.

My basic settings for shooting video are 25p 50M, SLog3, AF-C. I set my autofocus drive speed to slow and I change my ISO depending on the lighting. Obviously, if you want to shoot in slow motion, you’ll have to change your frames per second, but you can keep everything else the same.
